Blogging Etiquette

Welcome to the Book Slash Movie Club. The purpose of this blog is to discuss the books and movies we read/view as a group.

This is a school-sponored club, thus, the blog will be moderated by me. I want to encourage all of you to share in the discussions and offer all of your valuable comments, ideas, and opinions.

Some simple guidelines:

Don’t write anything you wouldn’t want the whole world to know. Sound familiar? This general rule-of-thumb applies to email, FaceBook, and all forms of electronic communication. If you post it, Google will find it.

Be nice. Hopefully we will have some spirited discussions. It is not necessary to agree with everyone’s opinion – it is necessary to disagree with respect.

Keep your postings short and to the point. Most readers will be scanning the material as opposed to reading it word for word. Use indents, bullets, and spaces to break up long blocks of text.
